
Letter of Inquiry – Step 1
In order to initiate a proposal to Saxum|PR for the Step Up grant program, a one-page letter in 12 pt. font of inquiry must be received by 5:00 pm on April 24. The letter should include the following criteria:
- Organization name
- Name of CEO/Executive Director
- Contact phone number and email address
- Mission of the organization
Your organization must be able to meet the following criteria requirements:
- Must be a 501 (c)(3) organization
- Must be a United Way or Allied Arts member agency
- Must have an annual gross income of $1 million - $5 million
- Located and services provided in Central Oklahoma
- Must have at least one full-time staff member dedicated to PR, Marketing or Communications for the organization.
If your organization does not qualify under these criteria, we encourage you to apply in the future as we hope to expand the program next year.
Also, please include responses to the following questions:
- Please describe the current public relations needs of your organization. What objectives are you not able to accomplish under your current public relations budget?
- If your organization received this grant, describe its impact?
Once your letter has been reviewed by the advisory committee,
we will contact you via email by Friday, May 1.
The contact information listed on your Letter of Inquiry is where correspondence is sent. If you do not receive email notification by that date, contact us immediately. Following up on a letter of inquiry is your organization’s responsibility. If approved, you will be asked to move on to an application process.
